1. West Nyack Swim Club  Swim and play tennis at this private club. Tons of family activities.  Feels like a throwback to simpler times https://www.westnyackswimclub.com/

West Nyack’s Downtown Revitalization Project is transforming the downtown area into a walkable, vibrant community with new sidewalks, curbs, decorative streetlights, expanded parking areas and green space. 3. West Nyack Hamlet Green and Firefighter Memorial Park Part of the Downtown Revitalization Project
4. Cone Zone Best ice cream
5. Lulu’s Café Go for breakfast or lunch. Excellent food with a 1950’s vibe
6. Taimoca Go for the coffee but stay for the atmosphere and the people you meet

9. Fun Fact, First solar farm in NY state was installed in West Nyack in 2014 over a landfill, putting West Nyack on the map as a pioneer in green infrastructure
10. Location, Location, Location, approx. 35 min drive to midtown Manhattan in light traffic, close to world class medical care in Manhattan, Bergen and Westchester, close to NYS Thruway and major roads
11. These are my current 10 best things about West Nyack. But I’m sneaking in a few more great things like the Eagles’ Nest on Strawtown Rd, Joanna’s Nails, Germonds Park,  Clarkstown Schools and the West Nyack Free Library. Will need to do another list! Stay tuned!
